Offered is a sweet set of all four Little Women cards issued by Hallmark Cards as a tie-in to the 1949 MGM film Starring Janet Leigh, June Allyson, Elizabeth Taylor & Margaret O’Brien. On the inside the cards are numbered 90, 91, 92 & 93 and copyrighted MCMXLIX Hall Brothers Inc. Each card also contains a facsimile signature from each of the stars along with a short bio of the character.
Also included is an original Hallmark envelope.

The cards are in fine condition with no tears or creases. Meg and Amy have some light spots on their dresses. They do show some age and the feathers have lost some of their barbs but these can be easily replaced with vintage feathers. This set was originally given by an aunt, uncle and cousin to a young girl who had a tonsillectomy. Each card is inscribed to the recipient and dated October 8th 1950.
The envelope has a crease on the open flap but is in otherwise fine condition with light aging.

All items are well packed to assure that they arrive safely with over 15 years of shipping experience in selling collectibles.
