DESCRIPTION
This is a gorgeous set of 5 chairs. Designed by Jens Risom for Knoll. These were one of the first chairs Risom designed for Knoll. These are model no. 666 WSP 1942. I believe they are oak and have the nylon webbed seat and back as seen in pics #10-11. These were with a Finn Juhl table and sideboard by Baker furniture. At some point they were recovered with foam (which you can see pushing out underneath the webbing in pics #10-11) and then were covered in fabric which is still in great condition. I only took the black fabric off of the one chair shown to verify they were Risom and then had it put back on. All of the chairs are very solid and stable. I will let the new owner decide to leave the fabric on or take it off to the original webbing. By the looks of the original nails as seen in pic#10, I believe these are very early versions of this chair which was designed in 1942. I would guess around the 50\'s, but that is just a guess. Overall, a rare set of 5 classic mid century chairs.
