Super well done and entertaining series about a soldier who rose through the ranks in the Napoleonic Wars and who despite being an honored war hero and officer was continually struggling against the upper class British officer caste structure and against lesser men who resented the humble circumstances of his origins, as well as his success. Excellent and accurate portrayal of the Napoleonic wars from a soldier\'s perspective Highly recommended!
