Here is abeautiful threesome of vintage \"Smiley The Pig\" pieces, made by Shawnee Pottery USA between the 1937 and 1961. In this group there is a Cookie Jar, a Large Pitcher, and a Creamer.

The Smiley The Pig Cookie Jaris a little more than 11 inchestall. I am told that this is considered to be a \"married piece\", meaning that the top and bottom were not originally paired together. The jar base is a desirable \"Gold Trimmed Shamrock\" versionandis decorated with six shamrocks, has large gold painted buttons and accents at the pockets and pant cuffs, and gold \"Smiley\" script. The top/head has a red scarf. (I\'m told the Shamrock versions would have originally been green). The underside is marked \"U.S.A.\" As shown in the photos, this appears to be without any imperfections. I can find no chips, cracks, scratches, scrapes, crazing, discolorations etc.

The large Smiley The Pig Milk/Water Pitcheris about 8 inches tall. It is a \"Cloverbud\" design. Upon close inspection I found a hairline in the base. Aside from this minor issue, which would not be conspicuous when displayed, I can find no other flaws at all. The finish is superb, paint colors are very bright and there are no stains, chips, or other concerns whatsoever. Please look closely to see for yourself. It is marked \"PATENTED Smiley U.S.A.\"

The Smiley The Pig Creamer rounds out the trio and stands approx. 4 inches tall. It is likewise from the \"Cloverbud\" line. In my opinion he is in excellent to near mint condition. I see no damage at all. It is also marked PATENTED Smiley U.S.A.
