Selling this extremely rare and highly collectible petite Shiebler figural spoon, this comes from their Flora line which was multi-motif, and this is the Forget Me Not pattern - it dates to around 1889!

Aesthetic movement with art nouveau styling - absolutely stunning, these are like works of art! I cannot find another one available where the Flora pattern is cut out / reticulated, to where the handle is figural instead of rectangular so I know they are very hard to come by.

Despite the petite size it is a thick piece with a very sturdy hand feel which is amazing considering the delicate design and detailed cut outs.

 It has no dings or bends, some scratches along with the regular age appropriate surface wear from use and polishing most noticeable in the smooth glassy areas of the bowl and the smooth back, so please note this is not a mint condition item. The bowl looks like it was once aggressively polished so you can see the streaky like scratches there. I don\'t see any damage to the designs but I tried to show the scratches in photos. Has been hand polished but retains a nice patina in the background to make the design really jump out.

 Marked with the Shiebler hallmark and \"Sterling, PAT’D 89” with the number 6 on the back.

 Demitasse size, measuring about 4\" in length. Would be adorable when hosting tea or for serving condiments.
