This shield is made of high quality plaster, and has been hand finished in a beautiful antique gold color to match virtually all decors. There are two nails on the back side of the shield, so that it can be pressed into the candle wax.
This makes an elegant accent to any pillar candle.- This shield has a crown on the top, a double-headed eagle (Roman Empire style) in the center of the shield, and at the bottom the phrase \"GRATIA DEI\" that means \"By the Grace of God\".The measurements of the fleur de lis are 8 ¼ inches tall X 5 inches wide (at the widest point).
