Packing supplies add weight to the total package. Yes, we would all like to save money on shipping, and I try to get it as least expensive as possible! But the main objective here is to get your item to you as safely as possible! First Class Postage only allows up to 13oz! Some empty boxes weigh more than that! The next level up in economy shipping is Parcel Post.
