This is an amazing piece of Pennsylvania folk art a very rare to find basket design.

Baskets are on point and they meet in the middle facing each other.

Displayed in a SPECTACULAR lattice design and the BEST PART is the unusual framing of the border.

The maker added applique basket handles and if you notice they are a different size than the basket handles in the baskets.

WOW, can you imagine planning something so grand as this....it\'s AWESOME!

Measurements: a generous 96 x 83 inches

Hand quilted 8-9 stitches per inch. Edges are turned and hand sewn. Batting is thin. Hand pieced.

Condition: Crisp, never used or washed. There\'s scattered age spotting and yellowing on front and back.

Circa 1860/70s era

The palette of prints is amazing. Many earlier with browns, turkey reds and so many others.

Collected in Pennsylvania.
