A large sterling silver tray by Shreve & Co, San Francisco, with the popular oak leaf, branch and acorn design, dating to the early part of the 20th century. Very much in the arts and crafts style. The tray is in good condition save for scratches identified in the condition report which probably resulted from carving with a knife without a protection for the surface of the tray. A tiny dent on inside rim, barely perceptible, at 11:00 o\'clock. Upper left hand quadrant. [See photo # 3 ] Otherwise free of dents and dings. The tray is an oval one, and it measures 16.5\" across and 12.5\" wide. The height is one-Half ( 00.50 ) of an inch. It weighs 33.13 Troy ounces. Or, 31 Troy ounces of pure silver. There is a monogram in the center. The piece is well identified on the backside. See photograph 6.
