For sale is a rare Iris pattern Shreve of San Francisco sterling silver service containing 3 pieces: Hot Water Kettle; Teapot and Waste Cup. All pieces of tea service are hallmarked Shreve and Co. of San Francisco, Sterling. The kettle is 16 inches tall and weighs 56.5 oz. Kettle is complete except for hinge that holds on burner cap. All three pieces are monogrammed. Set was used and shows some minor signs of wear but no unsightly scratches. Shown in photo is a dent in teapot handle and a dent on back of pot. Had silversmith evaluate dents and indicated both were easy fixes. There is a smaller mark on base of water kettle also shown in photos. Teapot stands 11 1/2\" tall and weighs 25.6 oz. Waste cup stands 5 3/4\" and weighs 11 oz. Set can use a cleaning. Weights are in Oza. Collection will be professionally packed and shipped by UPS.

Sent photos of set to Shreve of San Francisco and they date set between 1900-06 or 1925. Also reported that there is only one complete set of Iris pattern known and it is in a SF museum.
