Jared Jaffe graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA in 1991 and obtained his MFA degree in ceramics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2005. Since then he has exhibited extensively both regionally and nationally. An accomplished ceramic artist, some of the craft shows that Jared has participated in are the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, The Baltimore ACC Craft Fair and the New York International Gift Fair. His publications include several books, magazines and newspapers such as The Boston Globe, The LasVegas Sun,USA Today and The Washington Post. He also had a feature article in the May 2003 issue of Ceramics Monthly entitled \"Jared Jaffe\'s Balancing Act\".His college teaching experience includes the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Front Range Community College, Westminster Colorado, and the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia. He is also a certified secondary art educator, and taught ceramics at Moorestown High School, Moorestown, New Jersey from 2008 to 2011. He is currently a full-time assistant professor of ceramics and glass at Keystone College in La Plume, PA.
