For sale is a signed E. Lapahie Sunface Kachina Doll. When I researched the name I kept coming up with information regarding Hopi tribes, so I am assuming that this piece Hopi made. Please note that I am not an expert regarding Native American art, so it could possibly be Navajo as well. This piece looks to be in pretty nice cosmetic condition, but may be missing whatever decorative piece was in its right hand.
Looks and feels to be real fur which has been dyed blue to match the blue feathers. Hand painted leather shawl looks great. Kachina measures 13\" tall, 6.5\" wide, and the base measures 4.5\" in diameter. Please ask questions before buying and thanks for looking!
