THIS IS A SIGNED FABERGE IMPERIAL ROSEBUD EGG BOX. IT HAS EMERALD GREEN GUILLOCHE ENAMEL AND A FITTED VELVET LINED INTERIOR. IT CONTAINS A RED ENAMEL ROSEBUD WHICH OPENS TO REVEAL A MATCHING GREEN ENAMEL EGG NECKLACE. THIS EGG HAS THE PROPER STAND AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT MEASURES 2&5/8 INCHES TALL ALONE AND IS 3.5 INCHES TALL WITH THE STAND. All of my Faberge items were purchased directly from the American factory that made them. The manufacturer was licensed to produce them by the company that owned the Faberge trademark. They were finely crafted using Swarovski crystals and plated with 24k gold. These objects were packaged in elaborate presentation boxes and sold at Neiman Marcus. I do not have the boxes because they were not made at this location. The manufacturer is no longer in business and the Faberge trademark was sold to another company in 2007. These signed Faberge items will not be made again.
