Rare Meiji Japanese Fukagawa Hand Painted Floral Dimpled Vase.

Provenance: Japan.

Age: Meiji Period (C.1868 - 1912).

Size: The piece measures 15cm in height (6\") x 8cm in width.

Artist/signature: Fully signed to base with blue Orchid mark of the Koransha studio.

Condition: The piece is in excellent condition with only minimal wear to thegilding.

Comments: A fine and rare Meiji Japanese Fukagawa Koransha, floral decorated vase. The piece features beautifulhand painted flowers in tones of red, blue and gold (traditional Imari colours). Unusual dimpled ceramic body and slender neck. A very difficult piece to comeacross.
