We are offering for sale an excellent qualityWilliam IVperiod silver tea service. This service comprises: a teapot, sugar bowl and cream/milk jug and they were all made by one of the best silversmithing partnerships of the 19th century.

Each piece is round in form and stands on a spreading floral scroll foot. The teapot has a silver handle with heat insulators, a flower bud finial and pours beautifully.

Themilk pitcherand sugar bowl retain their beautiful gilt (gold-wash) interiors.

This 3 piece silver teaset is in excellent original condition. The underside of the teapot has been scoured and consequently the hallmarks are a little rubbed - the hallmarks are clear on the other pieces.

All three pieces have the same engraved crest blazoned as ademi-wolf. The crest is surmounted by the Latin motto: \"Semper Vigilans\". This translates to \"Always Vigilant\" or \"Always Watchful\". The crest and motto are used by members of the Wilson family.
