Solid sterling silver coffee pot, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1911 with the makers mark being that of W & F Rabone (Walter Hayes Rabone & Frank Rabone).

Engraved as a prize and the engraving reads \"Renfrewshire Agricultural Society Show 1912 Presented by Sir Thomas Glen Coats Bart C.B For Best Three Year Old Cow Bred Within the County Won by James Wilson Boghall\".

If you google Sir Thomas Glen Coats you will find plenty of interesting reading about him.

The pot lid remains tight with no wear suggesting rarely used, there are however a few small dinks to the body of which the largest is above one front leg which we have captured with the camera.

A nice piece with a nice bit of history attached within the engraving.

Stands just a fraction under 9 inches tall.
