Fine Edwardian Hallmarked Sterling Silver Mounts Racehorse or hunter called York 1903. A superbly mounted candlestick to horse hoof, the mounts in solid sterling silver of the highest English quality.

Hallmarked for Birmingam 1904 the maker initials G.E.H. and sterling silver lion assay mark. Made 1904 and engraved \"York 1903\" making it a valuable and highly desirable addition to any collection. Also please note the lovely crest most visible in photo 4.

Probably the hoof of the original owners fondly remembered horse which would have been kept on a writing desk most likely.

In overall superb condition,with removable candle sconce.
