Superb set of Antique silver dessert knives and forks (6 of each), all 12 hallmarked from London in 1833 with the makers mark being that of William Chawner II.

Each carries a family crest with the word VIGILANTIA., one fork has been engraved on the opposite side of the handle with the crest to the other 11.

Blades,tines and handles are all hallmarked silver not just the handles.

Condition is excellent with just one knife having the very slightest of gaps between the blade and handle but has no movement.

Knives measure 210mm in length and the forks measure 180mm.

A good condition antique set.
