Tips & Tricks for Application
1) Start with clean nails with pushed back cuticles and free of any natural oils or lotions (a quick swipe with a cotton ball soaked in an acetone based removed is great for this).
2) Select the foil that most closely matches your nail bed and the shape of your nails. Note that the foils you are purchased are differently contoured at each end, making it likely that you will easily find one that works perfectly for you. However, if needed, they can be trimmed with scissors for a better fit.
3) Remove the foil from the sheet by the opposite end that will be placed on your nail then lay the foil on your nail. Rub the foil all over your nail with an orange stick or other cuticle pusher so it adheres well.
4) Fold the excess down over the end of your nail and file with a nail file (crystal/glass files work best) in a gentle downward motion.
5) You\'re ready to enjoy your nail foils! You can extend wear time with a regular or gel top coat but it is not essential.
6) For quick and easy removal, the \"foil method\" also used to remove glitter nail polish works great.
7) Just like the the first time that you painted your nails, using nail foils has a bit of a learning curve. Don\'t get discouraged if you do not get it perfect the first time, just keep practicing and soon enough you will be a pro at applying your envy inducing nail art at a fraction of what it costs at a salon!
