Pewter Pineapple Dish
This is a lovely pineapple-shaped dish, 13 and 5/8\" x 6.5\". The dish stands 1.5\" fromthe table top. It is made from either pewter or a pewter-alloy, and it is signed on the bottomby the designer Bruce Fox.I know that the same design has been made by the Wilton Armetale Co, by Bruce Fox but thisdish is not marked RWP Wilton. I believe that it was manufactured by the maker before he sold hisdesign to them.
This is not high-gloss pewter. It does have shine, but there is a roughness to it, and I believe it was made that way.There are a few surface scratches, and there are places where the metal is darker than in others.Please take a look at the photos to see if this item might have a place in your home!
