German 800 grade novelty table top snuff box modelled on a Swiss Alpine Cottage, carries the makers mark on the base of Martin Mayer.

Of excellent size and weight, measures 122x88mm and stands approx 80mm tall. Roof is hinged and the attention to detail on the piece is quite exceptional.

Condition is good but it does have a couple of small defects, part of the railing/banister on right hand side stairway is missing and there are a few dinks to roof edge and a slight base wobble, all minor points and as you can see from the images its a very impressive and unusual piece.

Tartan bow is not included.
