Simon and Halbig 1269 antique German bisque doll in her all original factory costume. Wonderful 16 inch size, so perfect for display! Gorgeous blue glass sleep eyes with painted lashes and molded and painted brows. Open mouth with finely detailed lips and four upper teeth. Pierced ears with antique earrings. Composition and wood ball jointed body. Antique costume, undergarments, socks, shoes, mohair wig appear to be all original! Very few examples of these dolly faced characters exist and this is the only one that is presently for sale on the internet. She has extra special molding with such a classic antique childlike facial expression. Do not miss this one! She is from a very prominent NC collection!! ADG15176

Condition: Bisque socket head is in very good condition with no hairlines or chips. Her body does retain its factory finish but it appears that sometime over time that someone painted in places where the paint flaked. Large painted area on one leg and foot that would be covered by socks and shoes. Clothing is in good condition. Shoes do have some wear and tear. Very pretty rare doll!

Doll stand is not included. Non-smoking store. Odor free.
