There is a broken piece which has NO effect on the how the attachment works. Look carefully at the picture with the pink O.

I believe it was for the thread to glide against, but it doesn\'t make a difference

in the stitch. I do not have the tension correctly set, but you can see that the attachment works. I\'ll leave it with thread to make it easier for you to rethread.

I purchased the machine a few years ago.

I also let it sit in the box for a few years.

Originally, this machine was found stored in an attic. It had been stored for over fifty five years according to the family. That said, I was told that

the original owner loved this machine. She used it for a few years and then when they moved it was stored in the attic. Like most

ladies who sewed in the fifties, they usually ugraded to bigger machines. She did so and forgot about the 221.

It is in wonderful condition. The gold decals are still beautiful. There is light surface scratching. I took the photos with dust and all.

I had it serviced a year ago and wouldn\'t you know it, I got a 222 Featherweight as a gift so I used this one less than a handful of times.

The foot pedal electrical cords were in bad condition and were replaced.

That is all that had to be done to the machine because it was in such great condition.

I need to find a home for this beautiful machine where it will be used.

I am sorry that I cannot see the Part numbers for most of the attachments, but all were found with the box as it was stored in the attic.

These are very good little workhorse machines. They are outstanding for working on quilting pieces.
