This adorable \"Let It Snow\" animated musical Christmas display by Gemmy Industries, Inc. is in excellent vintage condition.
Featuring a trio of bright red Cardinal birds sitting on a snow-covered log, this whimsical holiday display not only plays three different songs/sounds but as it does, the beak on the large Cardinal opens and closes as if he\'s actually singing!
The bird\'s repetoire includes two Christmas favorites, \"Sleigh Ride\" and \"We Wish You a Merry Christmas\" as well as an \"encore\" consisting of wild birds chirping and warbling away. Too cute!
Sound/animation of the display is motion-activated. Any movement in front of the display will cause the birds to start \"doing their thing.\" A small red button on the top of the piece can be pushed to advance the music to the next track or start the audio manually.
Made of molded plastic, the display measures approximately 8-1/2\" high by 10-1/2\" wide. On the front side of the display, beneath the birds, are the words: \"Let It Snow.\"
The bottom of the piece is plain black and has rubber feet, a perforated area which is the sound box, and a battery compartment that holds 4 AA batteries (not included). There\'s also an On/Off switch that controls the bird\'s singing/animation. (See pix.)
Display is in excellent vintage condition, has been tested, and it sings and the large bird\'s beak moves as it should.
A great piece to add to your Christmas, music box, or animated musical novelty collection. Would make a great hostess gift or even a gift for an elderly family member or child who will get hours of entertainment and enjoyment about this cute and clever display!
