Each one is over one thousand twohundred yearsold and has some minor wear and tear commensurate with age.
Thecaliph Abdal-Malik ibn Marwanintroduced the true Islamic coinage in 70 AH.
His system was to havethe inscription on one side as follows:

andon the other side would contain information about the caliph andwhere the coin was made.
EarlyIslamic coins in such good, clean and attractive condition are veryrare and this one has the amazing inscription too!
