A set of six coin silver teaspoons by the early American silversmith David Hall of Philadelphia, Pa, c1780. They have the characteristic small bowls and long handles of Philadelphia spoons of the period and are engraved with the original owner\'s initials in script. Good condition, though the bowls all have small dings and signs of tip wear. Otherwise they are in fine condition and the maker\'s marks are particularly clear on all six.L: 5 1/2in/14cm; W (total): 72g.
