This unusual 12\"x7\" Slingerland Snare is is in fantastic cosmetic condition and sounds even better! the small diameter and greater depth make this a very versatile snare. Tuned high there\'s amazing tone and punch, while tuned low theres enough \"thwack\" to rival any 14\" drum out there.This little beast is solid brass with chrome hardware, making for a very solid, heavy snare. I bought this drum new 15 years ago and have used it in studio situations only. There is a tiny bit of patina starting on one of the panels, which can easily be polished out. (*See pic for detail)Resonant head was replaced last year and is in perfect condition. New strainers added 3 months ago. I also have a new Evans Genera Dry 12\" batter head that I can include in the sale if interested.
