Looks like a very interesting letter.It is written by Frank,(I do know it was Francis John King of Smethport,Pa.,),but he has only signed this letter Frank. to Martha.He is all over Google.com. I found him as a Bucktail regt.,in the Civil War online.Alot is talked about him their! Who he was and his life.You might want to see on Google. Letter here is from 1866. Just one year after the Civil War ended! In old ink handwriting. He was a great writer of the past.First off he tells of how he is doing in Smethport,Pa.,He tells Marth....talks about the town and what it is like..rode in stagecoach..talks about Salisbury...marriage and such...then much more to read.Not bad shape for being 151 years old! Has a stain and a tear to letter.Overall a well kept unresearched survivor piece here! Thank you very much for viewing this!
