This is a smoky Amethystcluster. Has a scepter to capped formation, a bit of both. Has some light purple with a touch of smoky in areas. Several layers of growth looks to haveoccurred. It is from \"The Peoples Pocket\" in Abbeville County, South Carolina. This is a brand new find, had been following a beryl pegmatite and ran into a hydro-thermal vein producing some quartz with smoky andamethyst. Very few pieces came out of this pocket. This is the first time in my 10+ years digging to ever run into this rare occasion here in S.C. Normally these veins systemsdidn\'tmix.
