This is a lovely antique miniature. It is STAMPED \"800\" silver on the Flag. (meaning it is 80.0% Silver, as opposed to Sterling Silver which is 925 =92.5% silver).
The miniature depicts a darling cherub mailing a letter. He is looking up to the birds in the birdhouse to take his letter to his beloved. The base is a gilt gold color.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with minimal wear.
MEASUREMENTS: 3.24\" tall x 2.24\" wide.
