For purchase is a solid Gorham Bronze statue made for the New YorkEdison Company. I do not know the exact date from which this came, or the circumstances it was used for,but it was around 1922, as this piece was to commemorate 40 years of service (1882-1922). There are 2 inscriptions on it (Forty Years at Your Service September 4, 1882-1922, on the statue base)and (Compliments of the New York Edison Company, on the lightbulb tray). The statue weighs 3-4 pounds, if I\'m remembering correctly. It has a nice brown appearance/finish and does not appear to have been cleaned, scoured or otherwise tampered with.
