A lovely solid silver vesta case with an attractive swirling engraved design. The strike plate is on the end of the case. The initials \'F.C.\' are engraved on the cartouche on the front.
Hallmarks: The box is English sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1907 (Lion Passant,Anchor, Date Letter h). The maker\'s mark \'A J\' refers to the silversmith Albert Jackson.
Dimensions: It measures about 3.8cm by 2.33cm and 0.7cm deep. It weighs c13g.
Condition: There are a few little dings about the place (please see photos). No splits or repairs. The hinge opens and closes well.
