Description:Solid silver taperstick, hallmarked london 1902 in quite a lovely condition.

A stunning and elegant English Edwardian Sterling Silver Candle stick dated 1903 by the famous makers \"Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company\" of 112 Regent Street, London who were first established in 1880 by a gentleman called William Gibson. They were a very important London Jeweller\'s with Royal Appointments and eventually amalgamated with the British Crown Jewellers \"Garrards\" in the 1950\'s.

Very decorative and stylish as you can see from the photographs with stepping decoration and of the highest quality as you would expect from this maker. The size is fantastic, these are usually referred to as Taper Sticks as they take the smaller Candles or Tapers as they are called and they look impressive in a display cabinet. This stick has been well looked after there is a possible repair to the base not confirmed but worth noting & unusual to find one with a sconce, a fine stick for the serious silver collector.

The measurements are approx 11.5cm high and 7cm at the base, weight 152 grammes on my and of course have filled case for stability but with items of this quality weight does not matter.
