Solid sterling silver hallmarked SHEEP pin cushion:

A lovely and highly details, solid sterling silver, fully hallmarked, pin cushion in the shape of a sitting Sheep. Approx. 5cm long x 3.5cm high and with a blue velvet pin cushion on its back.

There are a full set of tiny continental hallmarks on the underside which are very small and hard to read. The first is some kind of symbol or letter I cannot make out, the second is that of a shield; again I cannot clearly make out the mark as it so small. Then there is 925 within scales and also \"925\" for sterling silver. Possibly European origin.

Total weight approx. 16.2 grams and in perfect condition. Sorry I can\'t offer a precise date to this but possibly late 20th century.
