- Creator of the underground comic book biker/hero \"Trashman\". - Rode with the \"Road Vultures\" motorcycle club of Buffalo, New York. - His posters for the San Francisco Mime Troupe are so much coveted that they disappear shortly after being put up. To discourage would be collectors, extra staples are placed in the middle of each poster. - In 1968, Edward Summer and Jeremy Taylor (now a writer/Professor in San Rafael, California) started a comic strip called \"SUNY Daze\" for the University of Buffalo New York newspaper The Spectrum. When Summer moved away, Spain took over drawing the strip: his first published comic strip.
