Offered for saleis this original post SpanAm black leathersmall pistol cartridge box. The wooden block inside with holes for holding 12 rounds.The identical box, without the wooden block was later issued with .45 caliberrevolvers, presumably the Colt Artillery Single Action and Model 1902 and 1909Double Action revolvers. The flap has an embossed oval US. The flap eyeletattaches to an acorn finial. The reverse side of the box is stamped ROCK ISLANDARSENAL 1904 between the two belt loops. Slight indent next to the S, possibly in the manufacture. Mentioned for the sake of accuracy. Otherwise, overall very good to excellentcondition. See my otherMilitaria now on
