Up for sale is a RARESpanish America WarEraUSN Navy 1889 Pattern Leather Holster. This holster was designed to be usedwith the new double action .38 caliber Colt Revovler. It incorporated a right hand, butt rear, carry position.Some were marked USN and some were left unmarked. This example is unmarked. This holster is used, see photo\'s for condition. The leather is still soft and supple. It does have minor surface cracks consistent with it\'s nearly 125 year age. No crazing. There are norips or tears in the leather, thesnap on the flap still works. The end plug of the hoslter is present. There are no splits in the belt loop or on the reenforcing at the web.
