DIAMONDS ~ Clear Stained Glass Window Panel with Faceted Bevels
Traditional, yet still contemporary in design, this lovely stained glass window panel showcases a trio of clear faceted bevels which create sparkling prisms, just like real diamonds. The \"diamonds\" are complimented by a textured clear lacy \"glue chip\" glass background. Anda double border of clear faceted bevels and more \"glue chip\" glass adds both prisms and dramato this pretty glass art piece.
DIAMONDS is all hand-crafted using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It has hand polished black patina, a darkened zinc frameand chain for hanging. It can be displayed either vertically or horizontally - the play of light through this piece is beautiful from either orientation.
DIAMONDS is my original design and is signed and dated.

About the Artist
I have been working with stained glass for a little over17 years. My studio is in the San Jacinto Valley, which is a semi-rural area of Southern California about 60 miles west of Palm Springs.
Every glass piece that I create is a \"labor of love\". Designing a pattern, choosing the colors and textures of glass, and then cutting and fitting each piece together is such a calming, joyful experience - especially if a piece turns out the same way I envisioned it would.
I\'m quite slow in creating my glass works, but that\'s okay, as I love the process. The time honored, sage advice to stained glass artisans is \"design it well and build it strong\", and that is what I strive to do. A well-crafted stained glass piece should last a lifetime, and hopefully become a treasured family heirloom.
All of my pieces are handcrafted original works. Occasionally I will use a pre-made pattern for a portion of a piece, but the selection of glass and the composition is always original. I hope you enjoy my pieces as much as I have enjoyed creating them. Thank you for visiting.
