STAR TREK: U.S.S. EXCELSIOR NCC-2000From the hit Star Trek television series and movies,The Franklin Mint presents the Exclusive U.S.S. Excelsior, NCC 2000ship in solid pewter with 24 karat gold plated accents with and a red cabochon stone. This Excelsior ClassTranswarp drive experimental prototype was commanded byCaptain Hikaru Sulu in the movieStar Trek VI: The Undiscovered County. And although similar to the USS Enterprise 1701-B featured in the movie Generations, the deflector dish area of the hull and impulse engines have a slightly different configuration (too bad Franklin Mint didn’t make all of the Enterprise versions!) Authorized by Paramount Pictures, this magnificently detailed ship measures approximately 10 inches long and 4 inches across and is in very good if not Excellent / Mint condition. It has been stored in a climate controlled and smoke free home.
All of the pictures at the top of the listing are of the actual item. All of the original paperwork from the Franklin Mint is included along with the Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The original Styrofoam packaging and the original boxes and internal packaging for the stand is also included. TheCustom designed stand featuring the Star Trek logo is also included. The outer box has normal to heavy wear from shipping that does not affect the pewter sculpture or stand.
The warp nacelles and all other items are straight and in place (they usually get bent or broken), and Iwill do everything it takes to package this valuable piece safely so that it arrives to you without damage (additional outer shipping box and plenty of packing materials/padding to protect the original container).
