Description

Stand itself has slight warpage on one end - backdrop has a surface crease. Still displays nicely. Figures are all high grade - 100% original with original accessories. All sabers have tip extensions. We NEVER sell anything that\'s not 100% genuine. This is a great example of the 12 that started everything!

This listing is for a 1978 STAR WARS VINTAGE MAIL-AWAY COLLECTOR’S ACTION DISPLAY STAND WITH ORIGINAL 12-BACK FIGURES. This set was offered between 1978 and 1979. The stand was obtained by mailing in 2 proof of purchase seals for the cards of the action figures and from the boxes of the vehicles. The orignal 12 back figures included:

Per the policy, once you offer, you have entered into a binding contract under the terms of this listing.Please do not offer unless you intend to purchase.
ATTENTION: Zero response buyers. We have had a rash of non-paying zero response buyers - especially those from China. Unless you contact us in advance, all zero response buyers will need to pay immediately or sale will be cancelled and item relisted.

Payment

Payment is due within 5 days of sale close or date of purchase. insists on PayPal, but we have no problem with just about any other method. (Personal cks are held up to 10-15 days to clear.)
Paypal payments - we will ONLY ship to shipping address listed on Paypal payment page.
California insists we collect 8.75% sales tax for California residents - unless you can provide a valid resale number. And we don\'t like it either.

We do our best toanswer all emails regarding active listings/sold items within one business day. We don\'t always answer offers to take less (if we wanted to list it for less or with a \'make offer\' option, we would have) or on closed/sold listings.

Shipping & Handling

We have found that the shipping calculator is often incorrect, so don\'t count on it as the final word. We only charge exact shipping/insurance costs.

Paypal payments - we will ONLY ship to shipping address listed on Paypal payment page.

US buyer pays $12.00 shipping & insurance (required).(Contiguous US Only!). Quoted cost is as close to exact as possible. If it seems high, please write. We do NOT make money on shipping nor do we charge packing or handling fees. Items will be shipped either USPS Priority, Parcel, or 1st class (dependent on size/purchase price). If you need a specific method, please let us know and shipping will be adjusted accordingly. All packages over $250 will require a signature.

International buyer pays EXACT shipping & insurance (VAT/Taxes/Duty is the responsibility of the buyer. Please know your own country\'s fees for imports).

We REALLY love selling internationally. We\'ve met many people through the years and many have become our dearest friends. Your business is importantand valuable to us. However, please do not offer, if you are unable to comply with the following:

WE DO NOT FALSIFY CUSTOMS FORMS.
Please do not ask us to put down a false amount or classify as a gift.
It is the buyer\'s responsibility to know and pay all their own country\'s duty/import taxes and fees.

Shipping Time: Our normal shipping days are Tuesdays and Fridays. There is a one business day processing time needed for shipments (ie items paid by midnight Sunday will go out Tuesday. We try to get most items paid on Monday shipped on Tuesday - but if time doesn\'t permit, please don\'t expect package to ship until Friday).

If an item arrived damaged, please be sure to retain ALL packaging including the box and packing materials and we will file an insurance claim for you.

Pictures & Descriptions

We strive to provide you with an accurate description of the item you are offerding on. PLEASE, please, please email or call us with any additional questions you may have. Keep in mind, you are offerding on a vintage item - expect natural aging....look at the large pictures provided. Also, please be aware that close up pictures will often highlight dust and minor imperfections that you won\'t see with the naked eye.

Returns & Refund Policy

After offering unconditional returns for 25 years, we can no longer do so.Officially, everything is sold AS-IS. HOWEVER, we\'re extremely reasonable people and if you contact us with any grave issues within two days of receipt, we\'ll work with you - sale@landlcollectables.com or by phone at (408) 998-5942. Buyers would be responsible for ALL return shipping and insurance costs. Insurance would be required and must cover the final offer price. Changes of heart (ie buyer\'s remorse) will never be a legitimate return reason. We also reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for returns or order cancellations - at our discretion. We do NOT offer partial refunds.

Please be aware that the greatest percentage of our items are between 30 and 50 years old. Items that fall into this age bracket are all going to have some degree of stress cracks, crazing, etc. Expect them. We do not highlight them unless we feel they are out of the norm. Additionally, wires get brittle, rubber dry rots, strings get frail. Talking mechanisms go mute. Battery operated items stop working. We will always tell you the operability of items in our possession - but we cannot, in any way, offer any guarantees of their continued operability.
