this is a one of a kind lamp and clock it was a lp gas delivery meter. i removed all the internal parts and sand blasted the housings. the clock is battery operate you need to remove 3 screws to get the front off and set the clock or replace the battery. the T handle that was used to reset the meter is the on off switch for the light. the light is a walkway light for landscaping, it was never used but it is recycled and repainted, one of the rivets to hold the tag on is sheared off, all electrical connections are soldered and heatshrink tubing sealed. the cord is a three wire grounding cord that is grounded to the landscape light. it has a compact florescent in it that i took out of my work bench light as i didn\'t have any handy, i had a reg bulb in it but i was thinking it prob would get the filament broken in shipping. the base is from the restore store here in town, prob was a front from a drawer. it has a thin carpet glued on the bottom to protect whatever it is sitting on. this is a one off creation, even if i found another meter it would not come out the same way, i build lamps as i go and there is no pre plan. in fact the cast iron part was a recent pic at the recycling center, and when i went searching in my stuff i discovered that i had the metering gauge and it bolted right on. they may have been together at one time, but who knows. this weighs close to 50 pounds so the shipping will not be easy or cheap. i put a lot of effort in my packing and i may take the globe and rings off of the light and pack them. the numbers on the clock are the original face from the meter so they do not show the hours it was a 10 counter rather than a 12. the clock has been running in my shop for a week and is keeping good time. i never got around to resetting the shop clock to DST as it requires the ladder, and i have been to lazy to go get it . this clock is also set to 1 hour behind central time. if you tell me your time zone before i ship it i will correct the time on the clock. don\'t miss out on this one of a kind lamp it is sold as is while i do not do returns if there is a problem i will work with you. i have excellent response and I am the chief engineer for 4 radio stations so you can be sure the electrical is first class. my safety rule is simple. IF I WOULD NOT PUT IT IN MY HOUSE I WON\'T PUT IT IN YOURS my wife grabs a lot of my lamps for our own living room so this is really very true.
