Great Vintage Steiff Germany Mohair Plush Leopard Lying Pair (2) - 17 cm long (6 3/4 inches) - one with Green Glass Eyes - Raised Script ID Button - mohair darkening - previous stitch repair on chest between front legs - both produced 1954 to 1961 Only - other cat has one small hole in knee of back leg - speckled with wallpaper paste on fur - Fair Condition - selling AS IS

Leopard Lying Pair in the 17 cm long size (6 3/4 inches - chest to tush) either EAN #2317,1 dating them to between 1954 to 1958 OR EAN #2317,00 dating them to between 1959 to 1961 - a short production period.

Made from short tawny spotted mohair plush, longer mohair for face ruffs, one with green Glass eyes, both have a pink stitched nose outlined in brown stitching & brown stitched claws. Clear whiskers. Unjointed and in the lying position. They wear a modern navy satin neck ribbon.

Fair pre-owned vintage condition with some thinning plush, one with darkened mohair & whiskers, some old stitched repairs at ear & on chest between front legs, the other speckled with what appears to be wallpaper paste. Could be removed with time/care. Small hole in knee of back leg. First one has his raised script nickel ear button & illegible yellow ear tag. Being sold AS IS.
