This spoon is part of an exquisite inherited collection of sterlingsilver.

Offered for sale is a beautifully detailed antique demitasse souvenirspoon from St. George’s Hall Liverpool, England. The finial is a three dimensional Liver Bird. The handle is twisted. The front of the bowl is embossed “St.George’s Hall Liverpool with a beautiful depiction of the building. The reverse of the bowl has a prettymonogram “CPP”. This spoon was collected by Camille Polk Pillow, of HelenaArkansas.
Historically speaking, St. George’s Hall is known as the best example ofNeo-Classical architecture in Europe. Itwas completed in 1854.
It is marked Sterling silver, has a worn British maker’s mark with Anchor/walking lion / and small case \'i\' and ishallmarked.
It measures approx. 4 1/4inches long. It weighs approx. 11 grams.
