A sterling silver belt buckle, quite possibly for a nurse. It seems to be intended to take a 2\" belt. Condition excellent for age, with just a tiny bit of wear where the two halves clip together.Hallmarked Birmingham, 1901. Maker\'s mark is \"A&C\", so possibly Asprey and Co, although the mark seems different to Asprey\'s usual \"A and Co\" mark of the period.
