This sterlingsilver clad steel thimble wasmade in England to compete withCharles Horner\'s DORCAS thimble. It has a double row of asterisksaround the top band. The word\"DREEMA\" is stamped on thelower band with HG & S and 13 (the English size). It\'s about anAmerican size 6 (14 mm diameter opening).

This patternis shownon p. 22 of Diane Pelham-Burn\'s book IdentifyingSteel-Cored Thimbles (#4) and it\'s from her collection. It\'sin almost mint condition, crisp and in round withno needling, holes or other damage. It\'s in the original Dreema boxwhich is lined with velvet.
