Presentedis a Norwegian silver cup with hallmarks for silver made in BergenNorway by Hans Jorgen Blytt assayed by Mathias Pettersen c1790-1812 between thedates of June 21 to July 22. I have placed pictures of my research in the photos’above. This beautiful piece has a flared top with a pedestal base, a great handwrought high finish with a detailed engraved design around the sides and threerings that were meant to hold three hanging pendants with detailed impresseddesigns. It has some dings, a slightly out of round rim at base but no wobble,and only some minor scratches from gentle use and is missing one of thependants from the three rings. It is excellent for any number or uses or décor’sas well as a great collector’s piece.
