Sterling Silver First Edtion Franklin Mint Mother's Day Plate - 1972 For Sale
Mother's Day is coming and this would be a great gift. This sale is for the First Year's Edition of the annual Franklin Mint Mother's Day plates. The design was created specifically for this plate by American artist Irene Spencer. This plate was produced by The Franklin Mint in 1972 as Serial Number 4415. It is made of approximately 180 grams of Sterling Silver and comes in a solid walnut display frame from Franklin Mint along with the original box, Certificate of Authenticity, letters from Franklin Mint and even the original pouch and gloves. There is a tear in the background material inside the display frame that in highlighted in the last picture. This item has been hanging for 40 years so I assume it to be normal wear.
