Offered here is a sterling silver cruet stand with six cut glass bottles . The stand was made in London in 1804 by John Emes.
This object is used for sauces like anchovy ketchup, chilli oil, truffle-scented olive oil, etc. In short, any liquid condiment that one only needs a tiny bit of to season food.
The glass bottles are in very nice condition overall, but one has a chip at the rim. See photos. In addition, there are some tiny chips to the feet, but these do not detract from the appeal or useability of this lovely item.
