Hamilton 924,17 JewelPocket Watch Measuring1 and 3/4Inches Across The Face Excluding Case (Size 18). The case measures 2 and 1/4 inches across. This watch is inexcellent condition with a Rose Gold Locomotive Inlaid to back of case. The Trademarked Star Watch Co. caseis marked Sterling .925/1000 Fine. I recently had this watch cleaned and oiled. Runs strong and keeps good time. Glass Crystal isscratch and chip free. Nice bevel to edge.Single sunk dial is perfect. Bow is stiff and tight as if new. The Nickel movement is bright and shiny with screw-down jewel settings and high-grade regulator. The movement appears as it may be silver as well but it is not marked as such. Stem Wind andLever Set. Both covers screw on and off like butter to invisible seams. This watch, given the high grade movement and exceptionally beautiful dial is certainly worthy of this fine case. It shows very little wear and was probably someone\'s dress watch. Serial #1413885according toHamilton Database dates itto 1916.
