Mirrors of this fine quality are truly a rare find.

I\'ve come to find out that this is a portrait of Madame Recamier, a well know Parisian socialite in the early 1800s.

The handle is made of sterling silver & marked....Beautifully designed with fine detail. The painted portrait is done on a domed, oval shaped porcelain medallion. Attributed to Sevres, France. Unsigned. Unaware if marked on back.

Very Nice Vintage Condition. No Cracks or Chips to porcelain. The mirror has cloudiness. No splits or damage to sterling. For accuracy, I mention a bit of play (looseness) to the lower section of handle.
